Transfer to the same Major

Requirements

  • Valid registration and attendance for at least two terms in the original program. The last term of study may not have been earlier than three years prior to the application date for foreign universities, and one year in the case of Chilean universities.
  • GPA (including passed and failed courses) equal to or higher than five (5.0).

Careers with additional application requirements

Architecture

  • Accreditation, at the moment of application, of three semesters of study.
  • Workshop Grade Point Average equal to or above five (5.0) or equivalent on the grading scale of the country of origin.

Dentistry

  • High School GPA equal to or above five point five (5.5) or equivalent on the grading scale of the country of origin.

Law

  • GPA equal to or above five point five (5.5) or equivalent on the grading scale of the country of origin.
  • Ranked among the top 10% of his/her promotion.

Medicine and Psychology

  • University GPA equal to or above five point five (5.5) or equivalent on the grading scale of the country of origin.
  • High School GPA equal to or above five point five (5.5) or equivalent on the grading scale of the country of origin.

Kinesiology | Nutrition and Dietetics

  • GPA equal to or above five point five (5.5) or equivalent on the grading scale of the country of origin.

Documents required

  • Certificate issued by the university of origin, stating the terms attended as a regular student.
  • Official Academic Transcript (passed and failed courses). If no courses have been failed, this must be expressly stated in the same document. Grade scale used (numeric).
  • Ranking Certificate of his/her promotion.
  • Study Programs (Syllabi) for each course.
  • Applicants from other Chilean universities must accredit that they do not have regulation nor academic impediments to continue their studies in the University of origin.

Careers requesting additional documents

Dentistry, Medicine and Psychology

  • A certificate with the results of the University Selection Test.
  • Two letters of reference from faculty members of the major at the university of origin.
  • Official High School transcript.
